Daily Duties at Iac, Group:

Promoted to this position in August 2010 (New position for our facility), Led a team of 9 direct reports and 175 hourly associates, for a 3 shifts facility, with 11 production lines, provided daily feed back to plant manager and other departments on Safety, Quality, OEE and 5S, Directed monthly Safety meeting with Safety Team, Directly involved with the implementation of our current Safety program (everyone is responsible for their own safety and the safety of their fellow employee) worked with HR Manager to reduce RIR/TIR and near misses over last 18 months reduced by 5%, Held quarterly meeting with all associates to discuss current achievements to budget where do we go from here, Weekly meeting with Engineering department on where we are with “new line” installment and current customer changes, Completed daily charts for floor associates on Safety incidents, Quality, OEE and Housekeeping, Ordered weekly and monthly supplies for the plant floor, Implemented vending machines for plant floor supplies annual savings of $25,000. Completed weekly verifications for labor, scrap and OEE to budget with corrective actions for all items not on target for monthly budget, daily scrap reviews with all shifts with corrective actions for scrap issues, Completed weekly reviews of Kronos and any incident/near miss investigations, Completed annual cost savings of $500,000 on 5 projects cost savings of $25,000 was required every quarter, Completed Manufacturing Readiness packets for all existing and new production lines corrective actions and action plans outlined and executed on time, Interviewed prospective employees with HR Manager, Created a material control procedure for weekly cycle counts on top 5 loss items from previous inventory, Instrumental in the installation, training and getting the lines up and running on time of 5 new lines (put together training videos and provided one on one training for associates), Worked with engineering on placement of new equipment layouts in our facility, Completed storage layout for all tooling implemented 2 months ahead of target date (ordered racking, scheduled racking installation, completed rack labeling, provided racking layout and training for all forklift and direct associates on all 3 shifts, Traveled to other company facilities to provide support for transferred business to our facility, Traveled to our customer facilities to provide support for new product launches (worked with OEM employees to address any issues or concerns with new product), Provided plant tours for all visitors explained process from raw materials to completed product.
