Daily Duties at United Space Alliance:
Performed engineering design, evaluation, analysis, refurbishment, conversion, and testing of the Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) and subassemblies for the NASA Space Shuttle Fleet, including Flash Evaporator Subsystem (FES) Controllers, Operational Flight Instrumentation (OFI) Signal Conditioners, Temperature Controllers, and Freon Control Loop (FCL) Signal Conditioners. Conducted engineering design, evaluation, analysis, refurbishment, conversion, and testing of Electrical Power Distribution and Control (EPDC) Systems and subassemblies for the NASA Space Shuttle Fleet, including Forward, Mid body, and Aft Power Controller Assemblies (PCA), Mid body Motor Controller Assemblies (MMCA), and pyrotechnic Mid body Jettison Controller Assemblies (MJCA). Performed engineering design, evaluation, analysis, refurbishment, conversion, and testing of flight deck avionics Display and Control (D&C) Systems and subassemblies for the NASA Space Shuttle Fleet.. Supervised as Lead Engineer the operation, maintenance, and technology upgrades of the DITMCO automated test equipment, GPIB computer console interface, and automated test software. Provided technical direction and mentoring to engineering team members. Presided over test and evaluation of new equipment projects, including test support for development and production of new equipment projects.
