Daily Duties at H.O.M.E Of Miracles And Embraces :
•Organized HIV community outreach events to raise HIV awareness in communities at high risk for STD infections including HIV in Fredericksburg VA. •Coordinated HIV fundraiser events throughout Fredericksburg, VA (HIV Awareness 3k run, H.O.M.E. annual HIV “Light the Night” Red Tie Gala, and HIV awareness jazz festival. •Provided STD including HIV educational sessions for youth groups, churches, and both middle schools and high schools. •Developed lesson plans including power point presentation on STD's including HIV as well as a HIV educational survey to promote HIV awareness. •Participated in meetings with local health professionals, stakeholders, and local leaders to address the state of HIV infection in Virginia. •Served as a Field Coordinator (to ensure that activities and events are operated efficiently).
