Daily Duties at Arris:
Increase company profitability by delivering forecasts and reports for over $100M of annual sales. Identify revenue variances monthly for sales team to understand market changes. Prepare and analyze financial charts for monthly business and operations reviews, clarifying reasons for any changes from budget and mobilizing sales team to rectify any declines. Prepair quaterly statements for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Reconcile defferals for Hardware and Software support for both cost and sales. Prepare monthly forecast for current period, through end of fiscal year, analyze and report major changes from prior forecast. Prepare Expense Accruals. Reconcile GL to forecasting/actual database tool TM1-enterprise planning software used to implement collaborative planning, budgeting and forecasting solutions, as well as analytical and reporting applications. Provide analytical support for stakeholders across the business including executive management. This includes: reporting and analysis of actuals, forecasts, and budgets understanding revenue, gross margin, operating margin, and cash flow results for the business; tracking business results against key metrics; and communicating results to management. Assists with analysis of monthly results for presentation to senior management.Assist in developing budget and budget revisions.Assists preparation of financial models to understand business trends. Data Base Administrator for Sales by Vendor - Sales Reporting tool Design, Enhance, Update Ad-Hoc queries and create business reports and tools for Product/Sales/Operation business units. Streamline current static reports, into dynamic automated reports. Train various people with Microsoft Office Pro and PeopleSoft Applications "Go to Person" in office and satellite locations.
