¨ Chosen to contribute to the daily operational leadership of by this 50,000 square foot location of one of the nation’s leading home improvement retailers, which included managing a staff of more than 300 associates and participating in the direct management of each department. ¨ Scope of responsibility included opening and closing the store, responding to customer inquiries, merchandising the store, handling store maintenance, interacting with vendors, approving return to vendor processing, assessing staffing needs, and conducting interviewing and hiring. . ¨ Oversaw ordering for immediate departments as well as entire store.
