Selected to direct all aspects of operations for this home goods retailer; position entailed directing the efforts of a team of up to 15 managers and 60 associates, ordering and managing inventory shipments and merchandising, overseeing customer service, and leading store walks with management team to identify areas of opportunity and communicate daily goals. ¨ Led associate training through one on one role playing, team meetings, and development opportunities. ¨ Forecasted sales each month and communicated goals to managers each week compared to previous year sales. -Responsible for writing performance reviews for associates/managers. -Responsible for monitoring store's payroll on a daily/ weekly basis. -Wrote store schedule to the needs of the business.
