Daily Duties at Central Transportation:
Responsible for the management of 30 to 35 company drivers, dock workers, and supervisors to ensure proper procurement and shipping of freight to customers within the requirements set forth by Federal DOT and transportation industry specifications. Management responsibilities include administering weekly meetings, productivity management and reporting, manpower projection and management, handheld computer troubleshooting and repair, tractor and trailer equipment management, and HAZMAT Placard Management
