Daily Duties at International Power (Now Gdf Suez):
Led power project development in the eastern United States in the RTO markets of ISO-NE, NY-ISO, PJM and MISO territories. Led project development of gas fired combined cycle and peaker projects and rewewable energy facilities. Responsible for development of market thesis and execution of business plan for the development of power generation assets in the deregulated power markets of the eastern U.S. Managed all aspects of third party professional services related to permitting and licensing, transmission and interconnection, engineering, design and construction of power plant projects in development. Managed internal corporate resources allocated to the power project development process and coordinated with public relations, legal and human resources for various key aspects of the project development process. Responsible for the internal investment analysis, risk management and financial valuation of the development assets and the projections for the capitalization and financing of the projects with long term debt and equity project finance.
