Daily Duties at Evertec, Inc.:
During the 2010/2011 period, I managed and developed various EMV migration projects for various clients in Venezuela, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Duties involved preparing work plans, managing the overall projects, developing specifications for the POS EMV applications, programming cryptogram verification and generation for “on us” issuers, ISO8583 message handling between Visa and MasterCard using DE55, as well as certifications with both Visa and MasterCard –online and interchange- and implementation. The project in Venezuela was successfully completed in less than 6 months and went live in 12/2010. The Visa portion of the project went live in the Dominican Republic in late 2011.
