Daily Duties at Medtronic, Inc.:
Responsibilities: 1) Effectively & efficiently deliver clinical services for $100 million global clinical portfolio 2) Drive simplification of clinical processes and implement enabling technology solutions 3) Manage external data management / IT vendors 4) Institute portfolio/project management methodologies in monitoring & executing clinical studies 5) Responsible for ensuring all regulatory requirements were implemented and audited to ensure compliance 6) Design / Develop / Maintain clinical research databases (e.g. leveraged traditional waterfall and agile methodologies for delivery approaches) 7) Design / Develop / Maintain reporting required by research teams 8) Ensure data integrity for research data collected at customer sites – data verification, data query resolution – institute standard data review processes 9) Program Management for Implementation / Growth of core Global Life Science Technology Solutions – Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), Global Data Warehouse, Electronic Data Capture, Global Complaint Handling, Document Management, etc. 10) External vendor management (selection, implementation & effectiveness)
