Daily Duties at Jemmco Capital:
I maintained trading/reporting applications, including SQL and in-house-developed FIX client/server. Effectively designed and managed all back-office Windows systems. Administered Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 with Active Directory. Made reports for Traders and Portfolio Managers. In many type of formats. Static Web Pages, Excel Spreadsheets, Crystal Reports. Aided desktop support staff on internal/external software packages on Windows 2000, Windows XP and Solaris. Supervised the help desk staff of two. I work with staff to get problems resolved. Environment: 5 Windows 2003, 18 Windows 2000, 10 Solaris OS machines, 3 MS SQL clustered Active-Passive, FIX protocol, Veritas Backup Exec, MS Exchange 2003 clustered Active-Passive, Blackberry Enterprise Server, FAME, MIMESweeper, UNIX Sendmail, AOL Gateway, VB Scripts, Perl Scripts, MS Outlook, Falconstor and EMC Clariion.
