Daily Duties at Lns Turbo:
Responsible for all production control related activities including purchasing, master scheduling and planning, inventory control, stockroom, shipping and receiving, and all logistics. Managed a staff of 17 employees covering five different departments. Supplier negotiations, inventory reduction, increased inventory turns, point of use inventory systems, kanban systems, driving a demand system rather than a push system, inventory accuracy, logistics, etc. were all daily tasks that fell under my scope of responsibilities and expectations. Continuing cycle count program and year end physical inventory count were two highly visible tasks that I led and directed as cycle counting was critical to ensure inventory assets were accurate and that bill of materials for each job were accurate. From a quality perspective I completed on-site supplier audits for inventory, repair service providers, and logistics providers to establish an approved vendor lists. Created and implemented the supplier audit checklists for approval standards. Investigated all non-conforming inventory issues and worked with suppliers for resolutions through Supplier Corrective Action requests as well as all damage claims for both inbound and outbound freight/logistics.
