Daily Duties at Tepco:
Plan & Coordinate work packages for PUR 2011 & 2012 Turnarounds. Plan & Coordinate numerous outages. Track progress, initiate work orders, material take offs, write requisitions & order material, coordinate with client & sub-contractors. Responsibilities include: Pre turnaround activities such as interacting with plant operations, inspections departments, maintenance department, t/a project group & management to assist in scope log preparation & scope definitions. Developing work packages that include pulling & interpreting isometric drawings, plan & plot drawings, P&IDs, flow drawings & detailed equipment drawings. Locating each specific piece of equipment & developing a task plan to execute the job required. This may include location of equipment, tagging equipment, taking photos of equipment & surrounding areas. Determining special needs to perform tasks such as material needs, requisitioning & ordering of material, equipment needs, environmental issues involved, safety issues, manpower needs & work closely with schedulers. Developing, in package form, all necessary information involved in any specific job, including document needs, drawings, pictures, manpower, environmental, safety, material, inspections, specifications, equipment, craft needs (scaffolding, insulation, civil, mechanical, etc.). Coordinating with contractors & sub-contractors for needs & concerns on any issues prior to & during bidding process. Walk out job with potential venders for bidding & special need purposes. Attend & participate in Pre T/A meetings, Scope Development meetings, Weekly Planning meetings & other job related meetings, prior to turnaround activity. Assist in mobilization of contractors. Coordinate, monitor & track all activities assigned to me during turnaround. Keep daily log & updates on job progress. Assist in contractor & sub-contractor needs for job duration. Write, log, plan, monitor & coordinate AWR, RFI & FNOC work during the T/A. Signing off & closing out job completions. Assist in start-up effort & demobilization of contractors.
