Daily Duties at Confidential:
Provide technical support to internal and field customers for an international company. This position supports a magnitude of different hardware and software configurations . Some of the hardware I support include PC’s and laptops, Cisco VOIP phones, VPN and smart phones, video conferencing (projectors), printers, copiers and fax machines. My duties include troubleshooting network issues such as wiring (occasionally recrimping), wireless, VPN connection, DHCP, Citrix. This is primarily a Windows /7 environment using Active Directory. The software supported is Office 2003/2007-especially Outlook, Ghost, IE, Adobe, AS/400 emulators, logmein. Other duties include assisting customers with AD account issues and system access, rolling out new devices, setting up new users in AD and AS/400, assisting sales staff with order issues, voice mail and phone issues, answering the Help Desk call line phones, participate in on-call rotation and work OT as required.
