Daily Duties at Itt Exelis:
Led a Technical team of 5 making hiring decisions, signing time sheets and evaluating performance. As a Project Lead, forecasted, developed and implemented a roadmap, scheduled resources, addressing personnel and/or technological risks. Created and updated documentary support for accountability. Ad Hoc data reporting to aid in technical and strategic decision making of client and upper management. Held weekly status report meetings to monitor progress and risks; Addressed issues arising out of those meetings by exchange of information with the client, upper management, other vendors, QA team, technical team and facilitating the team interactions, delegating the work. Used my technical experience in making decisions on the software development direction, advising the client about risks and opportunities and best course of action and estimated resources. Created powerpoint presentations for the upper management to use with auditing team, as well as presenting myself when requested. Worked with the external audit team from price waterhouse coopers to facilitate the audit process to the client's satisfaction.
