Daily Duties at Clayton Fixed Income Services:

One of six members of the Hedge Fund Services team, which was part of the Global Pricing Operation for the Worldwide Security Services division of JPMorgan in Dallas. Directed the pricing operation for three funds for Hedge Fund client Paloma Partners, pricing the trades of over $50 million in listed options, swaptions, and OTC exotic derivatives for Voltex, SDS and Xaraf. The prices of the trades were obtained from vendor feeds, such as Bloomberg and NASDAQ, or manually via vendor systems, such as Markit and SuperDervatives. Was responsible for improving the inefficient pricing of three Fund of Fund clients, and integrating the three pricing models into one. The prices were verified and confirmed by cross referencing with supporting documents and currency feeds, and after the support was verified, the accounts were signed off to accounting for the daily and monthly NAVs. Additionally, I trained the two newly hired analysts standard and modified procedures, all while maintaining and fulfilling my daily tasks. The latter part of the day consisted of verifying that all the market feeds from the end of the New York trading day had been obtained and uploaded.
