Daily Duties at Urban Lending Solutions:
Support the SVP of Mortgage Operations as requested. • Manage the Closing Department and the special projects within the department • Mentor the staff and convey the program guidelines and changes • Manage the hiring and training of new personnel • Included in hiring process is to complete job requisitions for new additions (positions) in the department. • Update job descriptions as needed. • Maintain a relationship with the Temp Agencies and negotiate pricing and hiring deals with them to verify we are within our pricing parameters. • Manage and Facilitate training classes to new hires and refresher courses for existing personnel as needed. • Perform 90 day reviews and Annual reviews for staff. • Coach and mentor the supervisory staff and team leads • Involved with all special projects within the closing department. This may mean engaging the client prior to a new project or while working a project. • Work with Supervisors/Team Leads to identify potential problems and solutions to increase productivity. • Maintain relationship with internal customers (Relationship Managers, corporate) and respond to their needs (such as conference call with clients to discuss new project). • Remain up to date on all guidelines for various programs. • Delegate to the supervisors all changes and direct them to assist direct reports to implement changes. • Analyze quality control results and suggest ways for improvement if needed. • Motivate closing department personnel by noticing and commenting on job performance etc.
