Daily Duties at Johnson & Johnson:
I was responsible for including and maintaining products on hospital formularies. Visit Hospital accounts in a daily basis, arrange meetings with pharmacy and therapeutic committee to ensure our product was presented during their meetings and approve to be on formulary. Create strong relationships with key opinion leaders in order to make them advocates. Arrange speaker programs at night with key opinion leaders and ensure their participation. Inform the speakers of any change in the presentation slide deck and help in any technical difficulty they may encounter. Meet all quarterly sales objectives for Shire products. Contribute to achieving national sales goals by effectively implementing marketing strategies and sales plan in assigned region. Provide current, accurate and meaningful product information to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other customers, for the primary purpose of selling Shire brands and their benefits to customers. Develop and maintain excellent consultative selling skills. Sell the benefits and attributes of J&J brands to all key customers: physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and others as assigned. Demonstrate advanced and articulate product knowledge and competitive products to Primary Care Physicians, Neurologists, Psychiatrists, Urologists, Rheumatologists, Gastroenterologists, Infectious Disease, Pulmonologists and Internal Medicine. Establish positive and productive relationships among customer networks within territory. Prioritize efforts and resources based on an understanding of products, territories, and the marketplace for effective coverage of key customers and networks. Analyzes sales performance and adjusts business plan and approach accordingly. Implement and provide input to marketing and sales strategies. Maintain up-to-date call records for physicians, hospitals, pharmacies and other field contacts, and submit reports and paperwork accurately and on time. Develop and maintain a positive business climate for the Company. Represent a positive and professional image of J&J externally and internally. Consult with management on unusual problems or situations. Participate in sales meetings, medical meetings, conventions and training programs as required. Appropriately maintain and manage samples, literature, etc. Maintain compliance with all company and regulatory policies. Other tasks as assigned by management
