Daily Duties at Johnson & Johnson:
Manage a $13MM sales franchise. Responsible for establish and communicate quarterly goal to the sales team and conduct weekly analysis to track and report goals progress to management. Updated on business performance, new initiatives and on what competitors are doing. Active participation in the demand forecast inventory meetings identifying opportunities for improve sales results. Manage sales plans, goals and associate activities to achieve company revenue and profit targets. Support and identify opportunities by the weekly analysis of the trade results. I was responsible of the performance and development of representatives. Contribute to the professional development of the sales representatives. Ensure compliance with all company procedures. Quarterly visits to the head quarter and arrange meetings with product managers and directors. Develop multiple advisory boards in collaboration with the US medical department and vendor. Generate an executive summary after each advisory board and make a presentation to the general manager and product directors. Ensure participation in important conventions/activities and participate actively during activities during weekends and night. Coordinate dinners with high volume prescribers and key opinion leaders to build strong relationships. Coach and supervise six representatives, collaborate with the US brand team to leverage and create new marketing resources based on local market needs arrange meetings with directors and product managers as well as with medical directors and health care compliance managers demonstrating to be able to work across different departments. Undertake a market analysis to include details on the market characteristics (market size and growth - dollars, units, prescriptions, days of therapy, patient types, market share development, number of competitors, market trends, market attractiveness); competitor characteristics (product characteristics, competitor marketing strategies, sales force activities, pricing analysis); prescriber characteristics (number of prescribers by specialty, physician prescription activity, desires and unmet needs). Liaise with advertising companies to prepare detail aids, leaflets, posters and other materials (print and electronic). Ensure the placement of ads in relevant journals and the distribution of materials to healthcare professionals within specified timeframes. Work with Regulatory to ensure that the content of all promotional material is fully supported by the Product Information and literature, and in accordance with the guidance offered by the Medicine Australia’s Code of Conduct. Organize symposia of invited speakers - organize venue and catering, speakers, and invitations. Undertake strategic market planning analysis by identifying foreseeable threats to avoid and opportunities to pursue, environmental analysis, customers to serve, competitors to challenge, product characteristics on which the business will compete, market segmentation and product positioning analysis. Conduct research on new and established markets, forecast changes in the market environment, seek and develop areas of business opportunities. Analyze customer questions, identify trends and recommend appropriate actions to the Marketing Manager. Work collaboratively with medical/clinical research associates to plan post-marketing surveillance studies to capture clinical data on safety parameters in local populations. Work collaboratively with sales reps to plan and implement product familiarization programs to enable the medical practitioners to evaluate and become familiar with the product.
