Conduct administrative law proceedings deciding unemployment and employer taxation conflicts, rendering 70-100 decision per month. Cases directly involve employer/ employee relations, employer policy & procedures, issuance of progressive discipline, employee benefits, severance agreements, and employment contracts. Dockets also include Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)/Trade Readjustment Allowances (TRA) Benefit Rights, federal and state FMLA, healthcare abuse and neglect cases, and business contracts. Mediate inter-personal conflicts and Investigate complex and often emotionally charged matters while maintaining a high degree of order and decorum – while working with a variety of employers and demographically diverse segments of the population.
