Daily Duties at Lineberger Cancer Center:

• Perform the research required by the PI to a high standard and in accordance with all institutional and federal regulations • Follow through on multiple projects and resolve issues in an appropriate time frame in response to manuscript, grant, and funding deadlines • Provide input and recommendations to PI regarding significant developments in research projects. conduct thorough literature reviews, synthesizing information in oral and written forms to benefit the research program and develop new research initiatives • Participate in the postdoc career development and annual review process • Work in a collegial and cooperative manner with the PI and other co-workers • Provide informal mentorship to junior investigators and graduate students • Participate in on-going clinical studies and processing tissue samples (primarily blood), assist with invasive monitoring, and analysing results • Order supplies as needed • Maintain all required training required to participate in human-based biomedical research
