Daily Duties at The Hartford:
Managed a team devoted to handling of complex asbestos claims in specialized Functional Claim Unit for accounts involved in national asbestos and silica litigation. Vigorously pursued cost effective and proactive claim resolution strategies. Identify, evaluate and respond to claims and analyze trends and developments through the review and interpretation of statistical data and claim outcomes. Proactively manage litigation for insureds, including advising on settlements and/or trail necessity. Effectively communicate complex material to diverse audience. Partner with legal department to determine complex coverage issues, including successor liability among many other issues.
