Daily Duties at Mc Clatchy & Associates:
Defense litigation oriented firm, Oversaw the professional and clerical staff. Have handled as first chair commercial, corporate, and defense matters. Have diverse experience in providing representation to carriers and self insured. Effectively represent corporations and clients (primarily defense, insurance and litigation issues) in areas including transportation, bad faith, coverage, subrogation, reinsurance, specialty lines, personal lines, commercial lines, transportation, general liability and construction law. Devise and deploy strategies to increase revenues through business development and to enhance client benefits through refinement of legal methods. Handle numerous matters to verdict (jury and non-jury), in State courts, Federal courts, Mediation, equal opportunity commissions, the AAA and appellate practice Provided counseling to clients relating to insurance, and claims management, negotiated favorable agreements for companies, and developed ideas and solutions in the insurance and risk management for policies, claims, and licensing. Cultivate productive relationships with clients, organizations, and courts. Draft contracts, agreements and forms for clients. Conduct seminars / instructional programs for companies, clients, prospects, and medical students.
