Daily Duties at University Of Mn,Dept Of Pharmacology/ Va Medical Center, Grecc:

I have managed research team of 6 members for several years. I was the main line of contact for all correspondence with our project on series of matters such as what to purchase, why, when and what for. I was responsible for all the data collected and the interpretation of the result. My duty was to make sure that all investigators in my group follow the approved protocols. Have experience in Cell Culture protocol formulation and design, preparing of experimental reports and scientific publications as well as making presentation slides or poster I have being a Co-Investigator and have been advisor to several graduate students in the dept. of pharmacology for several years. We do conduct studies on animals similar to clinical trials where some animals are treated with drugs and others with placebos. I have a good knowledge of GCP and ICH guide lines I toubleshoot all laboratory instruments and perform general laboratory maintenance Worked with other PPG members in Germany and Missouri university Manage 3 laborayories and mentor the graduate and Post doctors Deisgn Laboratory Protocols I had 3 lab technicians, 3 graduaste stdents and 2 post docrates every year and occationally 2 students from St Catherine's college and 2 high School Post Secodary Kids Design Experimentql procedure with regards to the grant specific aims and plans for Lab Negotiate the Purchasing Equipments and Chemicals Daily Student’s Progress Overview Daily analysis and evaluation of data from Postdoc and Graduate Students Designing Animal Protocols for effects of alcoholism on human and progression of Alzheimer disease Help the students with the analysis of their experimental data and the consequence of the results. Mentoring and supervising graduate and post doctorate students in the research of multiple topics including: alcoholism, Alzheimer’s, liver disease, and heart disease.
