Daily Duties at Symphony North Of Houston:
serve as organizer, design, plan, and launch non-profits chair and serve on committees engaged in all organization function from budget to nominating committees, marketing and publicity to governing committees position myself to be elected as President and C.E.O. of each such organization (e.g. national/international civic service organizations, community cultural arts organizations, professional organizations) organize and serve in a governing, administrative, and/or executive role, holding positions on the Board and/or Advisory Board of Directors, as an incorporator, officer, agent, partner, managing partner of these entities create budgets, direct and actively engage in fundraising, grant applications and presentations, seek out and obtain matching funds, donors, patrons, sponsorships, endowments, in-kind contribution craft graphics and layouts for advertisements and marketing, including website design and other e-commerce plann, produce and direct special events and performances, procuring talent, public speaking, talent search and recruitment, HR and engagement documents partner with other non-profits and institutions of higher learning to achieve common goals and mutual benefits manag and grow budgets and control, reduce, eliminate costs motivating membership and employees to commit and give their best effort to promote and execute the mission statement cultivate new members and patrons Image is everything for a non-profit and my fundamental responsibility has been in an executive and director capacity to serve as “figure-head” and “public relations” director for multiple community service and cultural arts organizations secondary to this is my responsibility (as a member of the organization) to sere others and to exude the spirit of volunteerism and love of serving others without regard to their walk of life inspire and motivate individuals and businesses with ample resources to get involved in and become accountable for large budgeted items by way of donation, sponsorship, endowment, advertising, product placement, time, talent and labor as well as to assume a position as a committee chair or person, or as a Director or Officer of the corporation. establish partnerships in the community that we serve and engage these in joint-venture-style efforts to promote our companion organizations in a mutually beneficial manner (e.g. community college with community orchestra) head fund-raising and all forms of revenue growth. expand upon outreach to that sector served in order to provide the most benefit for the resources available. long-term planning for sustained growth and impact on the community including partnering to develop a facility to serve all common beneficiaries comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, including corporate By-laws and other organizational requisites oversee grant applications and corporate funding, author and publish periodic fund-raising materials, attend and present in the grant application process serve as an expedient to key members of the organization the resources needed to accomplish their projects establish committees and make appointments of chairpersons to achieve corporate goals public speaking on a frequent and diverse level creative budgeting with consistent growth required engage in all aspects of a successful marketing plan including social media, promotional materials, logos, planning and executing events and entertainment. motivate members to take an active role in running the organization as opposed to merely carrying out their day-to-day roles develop and utilize communications technology in lieu of formal office setting to conduct the affairs of the business and its volunteers economically and efficiently seek out and building long-lasting relationships with generous members of the community (both business and private) actively participate in and attend community affairs (including seeking public office) to maintain the organizations “presence” and “image” in the community work with creative director in the design of programs including staffing, acquiring artistic works, staging, programming, et al developing a system making use of the best talent available in a manner that is mutually beneficial
