Daily Duties at Weatherford International Canada:
•Design and develop high temperature (150°c degree) electronics circuit board for use in down-hole environments in directional drilling control systems. •Responsible for the new product electronics design from proof of concept through qualification testing and release into production. •Take charge of downhole DERIC advance project transition from UK Tewkesbury to Canada. •In charge of the improvement for DERIC advance project for toolface accuracy, achieved controller board performance improvement by using simulator box. •Take a lead to setup department Electronics test lab and establish electrical documentation systems •Lead Design Validation Test for the DERIC controller board and author the Design Validation Test Report document •Provide technical guidance to electronics PCB layout review , and provide technical analysis and solution for the test failures
