- Maintain an active pending of litigated and non-litigated General Liability claims involving coverage issues with moderate to severe damages. - Handle a variety of claim types including Premises Liability, Construction Site Bodily Injury, Water Damage, Landlord/Tenant, Food Bourne Illness, Dram Shop Liability, Product Liability, etc. - Experienced interpreting several policy forms and endorsements including Commercial General Liability. - Interpret coverage with respect to issues concerning Ongoing vs. Completed Operations, “your work,” and “your product.” Skilled at drafting coverage position letters including Coverage Denials and Reservation of Rights. - Interpret various contracts including Owner, Landlord, Tenant Leases, Subcontractor Agreements, etc. to determine duties owed and possible Risk Transfer. - Familiar with Litigation Management Cost Containment procedures. - Negotiate effectively informally as well as Voluntary Settlement Conferences and Mandatory Settlement Conferences. Direct defense counsel to secure early dispositive motions. - Customer Service focused individual who develops good rapport and fosters business relationships with internal and external customers.
