Daily Duties at Fresinius Medical Care:

Responsible for, but not limited to maintaining and developing all aspects of patient care and case management inclusive of acute dialysis, chronic dialysis, patients with multiple co-morbids and the terminally ill , including maintaining safety and quality in the dialysis clinic, patient and employee and patient education, maintaining a quality work environment, budgeting and providing all employee education in regards to new medical updates in the community, new hire orientation, compliance, DHEC Regulations, OSHA and biomedical issues etc… I am responsible for all aspects of the clinic including maintaining schedules for both staff and patients alike. My responsibilities include hiring, termination, performance improvement planning, monitoring and supervising up to 50 employees as I was the interim Center Director at Charlie Hall Dialysis for almost two years as well as a sister clinic in Mount Pleasant SC. At that time, I was responsible for 250 patients and 50 employees including RN’s, Patient Care Technicians, Social Workers, Dieticians, Unit Secretaries and Biomedical personnel. My responsibilities include anemia management of all of the in-center patients for clinics, which includes medication changes to prevent cardiovascular issues due to the medications administered, monitoring and developing plans of care to improve outcomes, QAPI or CQI or Quality Assurance, Case Management , Governing Body, care planning, etc... Responsible for everyday activities of patients and staff, maintaining and developing relationships with the Inter Disciplinary Team; Physicians, Social Workers, Dieticians and Home Department staff , community resources and hospital personnel and services. I work very closely with the Regional Quality Manager to ensure that all aspects of quality are maintained per company, state and federal regulations..
