Daily Duties at Jbj Consulting:
Independently served as for-hire legal assistant/consultant for varied Southern California law firms, primarily focused in the fields of bankruptcy and foreclosure prevention. Prepared bankruptcy pleadings and drafted follow-up documentation, filed bankruptcy petitions electronically through ECF, performed legal research, assisted clients under attorney supervision when necessary, and performed other duties as requested by the contractee. Areas of interest included real estate law, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy law, criminal law, family law, mortgage foreclosure litigation, and general Federal and state civil litigation.
