Daily Duties at Engineers Associates:
Manage planning, design, and coordination of activities for $8M Riverside Buddhist Meditation Center construction; supervise contractor and consultant during all phases of design and construction. Manage relationships with leading owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors. Inspect civil and public works projects to ensure compliance with public codes, plans and specifications for City of Montebello, City of Los Angeles, City of Lake Forest and City of Yorba Linda in Los Angeles and Orange County; also provide technical / engineering support Oversee seismic and structural design of wood, steel, and concrete frame buildings over concrete foundation, un-reinforced masonry basement, and retaining / basement walls; ensure compliance with ACI, ANSI, UBC, CBC, and IBC regulations .
