Daily Duties at Honeywell International:
Honeywell Field Service Leader Managed/Supervised (20) automation technicians and (20) HVAC Union Mechanics in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts. System troubleshooting, preventative & corrective maintenance, system configuration & implementation, hardware and software upgrades, power-on support, schematic support, point building, consulting and programming. Coordinate with customer personnel on troubleshooting activities and issue resolution. Supervise and control work load of service technicians. Schedules service work according to priority and maintain an orderly flow of work. Advise customers of necessary repair service including estimates of cost; also makes recommendations to customers for preventative maintenance. Handles customer complaint problems pertaining to service and repair work. Responsible for the safety of service technicians and maintaining a safe working environment in the shop area and reporting all accidents to HR. Order and maintain adequate supplies and parts for service department inventory. Make sure warranty claims are processed and forwarded to supplier. Inspect all completed work turned in to the Service Department is appropriate. Responsible for issuing purchase orders for the service department. Make sure job tickets are properly punched in and out on time clock. Ensures consistency, quality, and timeliness of design deliverables including technical oversight of all aspects of design. • Assist and support field installation team with commissioning and start-up of systems. • Possess a working knowledge of HVAC systems, process and facility cooling systems, refrigeration systems, electrical distribution systems, • Visio software, CAD software, and proficiency with Microsoft Office & Project applications • Commercial • Turnkey installations Customer Care Advocate Customer Care Advocate for Connecticut, Rhode Island, Southern Massachusetts. Responsible for managing more than 800,000 dollars (revenue) of HVAC& DDC Automation services agreements in CT, RI and Southern Mass. Communicate with existing service customers and sales team to ensure customer requirements are being met and questions are answered. Establish a relationship as the customer advocate and follow-up with the customer as per the account management schedule. Provide opportunities for growth by referring sales leads to service management. Seek out potential revenue opportunities (sales) including customer's budgeted upgrades or expansions, forwarding these opportunities to the Regional Sales Leaders for distribution. Support all branch customer retention initiatives as directed by service management. Meet monthly deadlines for customer contact reporting. Meet and exceed goals and objectives for customer retention (service agreements). Assist sales staff with estimating and creating proposals, budgets, and selling of Honeywell controls building automation systems. • Provide sales team with technical assistance. • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, communicating with customers’ staff, and providing customer feedback • Assists operations and maintenance departments with scope development and solving unusual problems, functionally and creatively
