Daily Duties at Strategic Building Solutions:
Commissioning Agent Accountable for the following territories: throughout the East Coast CT, MA, RI, Upstate NY, New Jersey, NY City, PA. Responsible for managing multiple projects (10 plus). Manage commissioning on the project and subcontractors; electrical/mechanical/plumbing on building commissioning. Perform design reviews of HVAC, controls and electrical plans and specifications. Consult on energy efficiency and sustainable designs (LEED). Lead commissioning meetings and presentations for all projects. Perform submittals reviews and prepare commissioning test forms and equipment checklists. Perform field inspections, equipment startups, test and balance activities, and functional performance tests. Prepare commissioning reports and maintain commissioning issues lists. Responsible for the technical quality, accuracy and managerial aspects of multiple projects. Responsible for personal and subordinate time management for those projects. Planning for project activities and keeping accurate records of project activities. Technical report writing and editing. Client (customer) management and communication. Communication with other staff including; principals, engineers and administration staff. Project invoicing responsibilities. • Visio software, CAD software, and proficiency with Microsoft Office & Project applications • Handle multiple projects simultaneously • Read and interpret project and equipment specifications and plans • Provide technical support to other team members. • Assist and support field installation team with commissioning and start-up of systems • Perform design reviews of HVAC, controls and electrical plans and specifications • Consult on energy efficiency and sustainable designs • Perform field inspections, equipment startups, • Prepare commissioning reports and maintain commissioning issues lists • Technical report writing and editing • Client management and communication • Communication with other staff including Principals, Engineers and Administration Staff
