Daily Duties at Trane Company:
Trane Service Sales Rep Service Sales Representative in Syracuse, NY area. Responsible for meeting and exceeding a $600,000 quota including service agreements, small projects, automation and controls, and mechanical equipment. Customers include owners, mechanical contractors, facilities personal, and property managers. New client leads developed via cold calling. Performed detailed energy analysis. Ranked by sales volume and margin within local region of 15 sales representatives. Responsibilities: Syracuse, NY area – Direct to owners, Building facilities personnel, Business representatives (Business Managers, Operation Managers, Buyers) and key decision makers. Perform estimates, budgets, and selling of Trane building automation systems and Trane HVAC equipment (Chillers, Unit heaters, Heat pumps, A/C rooftops and Spilt systems). Respond to customers by identifying needs, generating quotes and closing orders. Provide needed information to other departments to ensure jobs are completed on time. Communicate customer perceptions by gathering customer feedback and sharing information with management. • Trane Tracer Software End User • Sell Turnkey installations • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, communicating with customers’ staff, and providing customer feedback • Prepare and present technical content, proposals, analysis, and feasibility reports. • Recommendations on equipment/systems operation and modification for energy conservation, efficiency, and reliability • Assists operations and maintenance departments with scope development and solving unusual problems, functionally and creatively • Visio software, CAD software, and proficiency with Microsoft Office & Project applications • Possess a working knowledge of HVAC systems, process and facility cooling systems, Energy management refrigeration systems, electrical distribution systems
