Directed public affairs activities in Rhode Island. Served as company spokesperson to media and community groups on various company activities, including facility siting, rate changes, environmental issues and storm restoration. As registered lobbyist, frequently testified at legislative hearings on proposed legislation affecting the company and/or its customers. Also, directed the delivery of all core services and energy efficiency sales to large commercial and industrial customers in Rhode Island. Managed annual rebate budget of $4M, a department operating budget of $2.3M, and a staff of 15 employees. Served on multiple company committees and task forces. Also advised the RI Division’s Inclusion & Diversity Team.
