Daily Duties at Ef International Language School:
Directed ESL program; adhered to corporation’s policies for student-customer service to ensure satisfaction; planned and administered bi-weekly student orientation and placement (up to 280 students); tested and assisted with course extensions and student retention. Bi-weekly scheduling for instructors and student accommodation of academic needs, resolved a wide variety of student problems. Hired and trained instructor staff; daily communications with international sales offices for future bookings; weekly accounting for textbook orders. Met with book sales representatives and arranged in-house book fairs; perused and purchased all level texts; chaired teachers’ meetings and in-services /educational workshops with publishers. Successfully launched company’s new curriculum. Financial bookkeeping of staff time sheets; taught a variety of ESL classes throughout directorship as needed, including accelerated specialized instruction.
