• Created and managed $65M clinical operating budget with responsibility for fifteen cost centers; developed protocol for monthly and quarterly financial reporting for presentation to Chief of Radiology and MGPO Board of Directors. • Collaborated with the Professional Billing Office to define, monitor and benchmark monthly financial indicators. Re-engineered operational processes as necessary to achieve greater billing efficacy and efficiency. • Consulted with the RCG Healthcare Consulting Group on various national projects; scope of projects ranging from new equipment acquisition and implementation with projected revenue returns to defining appropriate financial indicators and putting into practice systems to monitor and track monthly financial data. • Supported Director of Drug Development in financial analyses and systems development with dual goals (a) to increase business with local Contract Research Organizations and (b) to define MGH role and expertise in the delivery of its teleradiology services. • Oversaw monthly reporting process with emphasis on identifying and explaining variances and initiating ad hoc analyses as needed; managed physician payroll via Peoplesoft technology; hired, trained and educated financial analyst team.
