Daily Duties at Microbac Laboratories:

Led daily operations of the Organics Department including extractions, GC, HPLC, and GC/MS in support of EPA regulated programs. Trained, mentored and supervised lab analysts in operation of equipment and techniques in accordance with company, state and federal rules and regulations (cGMP, USP, NF, EP). Collaborated with a cross-team in performing all aspects of raw and finished materials testing in the Pharmaceutical Department using wet chemistry methods and analytical methods, e.g. UV-Vis, HPLC, GC, GC/MS, etc. using cGMP and USP/NF testing methods. Prioritized and coordinated multiple simultaneous projects to maximize efficiency and achieve critical timelines. Performed all aspects of chemical analyses and research on a variety of sample types including environmental, pharmaceutical (cGMP), and agro-chemical, for use in quantitative analysis, product development, and improvement of analytical methodologies.
