Daily Duties at Virgil Grissom Middle School :

I taught about 100 students. I was responsible for preparing them for the state tests and for the next level which was high school. Through the process referred to as “Connect and Check” part of my professional duties I conference with students to clarify issues they may have or tutor them on needed skills to improve their class performances I establish strong relationships with school faculty to facilitate students learning. I also maintain ongoing contact with parents in order to update them of student progress. I prepare and execute curriculum to meet student needs. I assess student progress and use the resultant data to guide instruction. I also institute differentiated instruction to facilitate learning in each student. I maintain portfolio of student work
