Daily Duties at Bayer Health Care Pharmaceuticals/Berlex Laboratories:
As a field sales director, I was a member of the senior leadership team for the Women's HealthCare division. On this team, we developed the sales strategies to achieve sales goals for our division. I hired, trained and developed regional managers as needed.Established positive mentoring relationships with all Sales Representatives and Regional Managers in their districts to include mediation and conflict resolution, performance management, motivation to reach sales revenues, and conducted ride along customer visits.Reviewed current territory, region and customer analysis when working in the field or meeting with Regional Managers and provided coaching as appropriate to identify key accounts and develop further business opportunities. Worked with Field Development Manager to identify individual and team development needs and executed the programs at staff meetings and one on one meetings. Prepared for and executed staff meeting agendas, national sales meeting agendas and area breakout agendas. In 2007, Schering AG, the owner of Berlex Laboratories, the US Division, was acquired by Bayer.
