Daily Duties at Capital Area Legal Services:

 Conducted interviews in order to ascertain whether a client has a viable legal issue and determine if the firm could assist them.  Assisted with legal investigations on behalf of clients.  Negotiated and developed conciliation agreements between parties through mediation and alternative dispute resolutions.  Utilized the following laws to execute legal services: Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure (FRBP), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Worker’s Compensation.  Prepared and filed legal documentation, including motions, briefs and orders for attorneys.
