Daily Duties at Elo Touch Systems:
Management and direction of systems engineering group composed of 14 direct hires, 5 local contract engineers and overseas contract manufacturing and manufacturing engineering (Taiwan Video and Monitor).Under my direction lead the development and release of all system level products including Touch Monitors/Touch Computers and Medical Touch Systems delivered to International markets along with key Fortune 500 customers as OEM. Transition Elo Touch Systems products to RoHS certified and insure all vendors have qualified. Responsible for development, introduction and training on Phase Gate program management system to improve product priority, timing and delivery. Insure all products meet or exceed advertised specifications, agencies ratings and overall performance. Insure product management includes DFX processes such as manufacturing, testing, quality. Review of all Marketing Requirement Documents for capability, cost, timing and responsible for negotiations with Marketing. Work with team to convert MRD to specific Product Requirement Documents for design and manufacturing.
