Daily Duties at Air Force Villages:

The Nurse Liaison is responsible for managing all aspects of organization marketing, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, and responding to customer requests and concerns. Is also responsible for Village-wide healthcare facility education and coordination of hospice eligibility, care, and services. The Nurse Liaison is also responsible for planning and directing activities related to the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards. Alternate Director of Nursing aids and assists the Director of Nursing in monitoring quality of care delivery by all disciplines and programs. To assure delivery of optimal care safely and effectively. To identify both existing and potential problems that impacts the quality of patient care. To ensure that provision of the highest quality of care to our residents receiving Home Health or Hospice Service and acts as Home Health Case manager in the absence of the DON.
