Led a multi-year, corporate wide, software development project to implement online customer servicing and new revenue acquisition. Primary responsibilities: Program Management Wrote multi-year business strategy to move customer servicing activities to a lower cost, more scalable alternative; enabling company to grow without increases in staff; Presented strategy to Board of Directors to secure project funding; Resolved business process, project management and business architectural issues via executive steering committee; Directly responsible for software development lifecycle and project management methodology including requirements gathering, business process modeling, business rule management, software development, quality assurance testing, business unit training and solution implementation; Managed project budgeting, variance and forecasting for a $3.7 million budget; Conducted business process modeling and identified/implement business process bottlenecks solutions using Oracle BPM; Managed changes to project staffing to achieve business objectives. Up to 10 direct reports, depending upon project activity (Business Analyst, Quality Assurance & Web/C##/Java Developers); Manage Software Development Lifecycle: Managed software development process using a hybrid of the Waterfall & SCRUM methodologies; Managed all software development staff to implement a SOA-Web Service .net solution and assured compliance with enterprise architectural guidelines; Integrated developed functionality with back office legacy system (COM) including the use of such components for key functionality (pricing & policy generation); Developed solution using Oracle Web Center Interaction Portal (WCI) and Oracle Business Process Management (BPM) automation solutions; Coordinated source code management, system architectural compliance and scalability/performance testing guidelines; Developed sourced code using both local and offshore resources (Beijing, China).
