Daily Duties at Criterion Development Group:
• Preparing Estimation by Takeoff Software (On Centre) such as sheet rock, Metal studs, Brick, Concrete quantity of New Condominium Building and the cost analysis of the total project and put it the master specification sheet for financial purpose. • Making Project Schedule by MS Project and Primavera Software (P6-version) and collection of various suppliers price for construction materials & evaluate the price list for Purchase order of the materials • Preparation Shop drawing such as light gauge steel metal frame for door & window & Pipe scaffolding, Sidewalk shed drawing for DOB permission and overall Site Supervision & Report making for office document. • Perform technical work in the inspection of dwellings and other structures for the enforcement of the Multiple Dwelling Law and Housing Maintenance Code and other related laws, rules and regulations that govern occupancy, safety and sanitary conditions of such dwellings and structures. • Prepare written reports of inspections enter related data into computer system and perform work related to lead based paint assessments at apartment building and construction management work and initiate and supervise work in the construction field including overseeing rehabilitation projects and assisting in overseeing routine reconstruction projects and difficult technical work in determining the need for and feasibility of construction work. • Supervise private contractors carrying out new construction, rehabilitation, repairs, alterations and structural maintenance work and inspect buildings, structures and grounds at regular intervals to ascertain maintenance needs with regard to construction, Equipment and materials, determine the work required and method(s) to be utilized. • Monitor work in progress by staff or by contractors, report all hazardous conditions in the Department of Housing Preservation and Development authorize the issuance of repair jobs to vendors.
