Daily Duties at Hamilton Sundstrand:
- Facilitated enterprise level change efforts to adopt Lean principles in manufacturing and transactional environments - Facilitated and lead all value stream improvement projects to reduce waste and improve cycle times from Designing Product (Business Proposal to Design Test), Operations (incoming raw materials to shipping), Aftermarket (Service Contracts, Repairs) - Responsible for managing and facilitating the company wide Lean initiative and strategy - Role was to provide mentoring /training /leadership to all levels of the organization on the use and practice of Quality and Lean Methods/Tools. - Responsible for planning and assisting in the execution of various Lean kaizen transformational events and projects targeted towards improving the business’s performance on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. - Core responsibilities include a cultural shift in focus on business performance improvements that yield zero accidents, defect free products, demand on on-time delivery, flexible manufacturing, cost reduction through Process Owners and Champions to drive results.
