Daily Duties at Valero Energy :

Responsible in coordination of the construction staff; iron worker foreman; pipe fitter foreman; inspection and electrica/instrument foreman.Communicate to each foreman thier responsibilities during the construction phase and making sure each foreman had all the required information to perform thier duties.Communicate to the construction management team of work progress; observed areas of concern and coordination of craft overlaps.Chair weekly project meetings with front line supervision; engineering; and construction team to review schedule;manpower;cost reviews and overalll objectives and schedule attainment. Discuss with primary contractor ways to meet schedule safely and cost effective.Utilize my skills and knowledge to make sound decisions in the field when required changes need to be made and report these changes or decisions to the project engeener. Coordinate the inspections and QAQC program follows the project schedule and documentation of thier inspections to complete work as close to completion of project as possible.
