Daily Duties at Alloy Media & Marketing:
• Professionally obtained and demonstrated working knowledge of SAP, Paychex, and ADP Payroll System • Competently processed weekly payroll for four companies, implementing efficient processes to prevent errors • Expertly performed miscellaneous human resources duties, such as processing new hires, bonuses, salary changes, status changes and terminations • Prescreened summer interns and provided complete, accurate, and inspiring information about the company and position • Conducted exit interview with employees leaving the company, provided with pertinent and accurate information • Reviewed incoming resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements and forwarding as appropriate to hiring managers • Supported managers with recruitment activities, including job fairs, outdoor and community events • Responsible for checking background and references to verify eligibility of qualified candidates • Organized recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions; schedule interviews, coordinate temporary staffing for the division; processed all new hire, benefits, leave, termination paperwork ensuring 100% compliance with various laws and serving as primary contact person answering management and staff questions • Developed and maintained employee bulletin board, recreation program, and payroll tax logs • Assisted Managers with revisions and clarifications of job descriptions • Created a computer database effectively managing applicant information and employee referrals • Prepared and completed garnishments, employment verification correspondence, direct deposit rejects, manuals
