Daily Duties at United Healthcare :
Lead Account Manager over 30 contracted hospitals participating in commercial (HMO and PPO), and Government (Medicare Advantage and Medicaid) health plan service lines. Responsible for the contracting and negotiation of assigned non-participating facility and ancillary as assigned by network leadership. Experience in claims research via network claims and contracting systems, (NDB, FACETS and UNET). Experience in the Emptoris contract creation and management systems. Participation as a team member on assigned project team: (HSD-Health Service Delivery Module) – 2014 Alabama Medicare Expansion. Team member as lead for ancillary network manager for the Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama regions. Maintained working relationships between assigned contracts and United Healthcare’s internal or external partners, and any regulatory agencies.
