Created the customer care communications department responsible for writing, editing and disseminating timely, precise and concise company product and procedural information to over 14 call centers across the U.S. and in Canada • Managed a team of five employees who wrote, published and ensured the integrity of shared product information for customer care representatives and customers • Public relations liaison for regional and corporate communications departments concerning media relations issues • Developed content and implemented publishing procedures for e-care help site which saved the company an estimated $1 million in customer contact costs • Managed customer communications during the network migration of 1.2 million high-speed Internet customers within five days • Developed and implemented customer care agent desktop tools and intranet knowledgebase • Significantly reduced average call handle time resulting in decreased customer care costs and increased profit margins though the development of an online reference library
