Daily Duties at Qwest Communications:

Project manager for Qwest marketing communications responsible for the creation, execution and budget of marketing and advertising programs to increase sales revenue for small, medium and large business sales channels. • Responsible for an annual $16 million dollar collateral budget • Managed advertising agencies and print production (McClain Finlon, eCollective, Andrews Birt and C2 Media) and controlled costs associated with marketing projects • Project managed the creative design, writing, editing, approvals, printing and distribution of customer-facing advertisements and sales collateral by established deadlines • Project managed the creative design, approval and show flow for annual sales conference • Provided sales channel with innovative, dynamic and customizable online collateral tool • Created, managed and distributed themes for quarterly sales incentive plans • Created and edited executive presentations • Responsible for the management, editing, publication, development and dissemination of internal communications to over 22,000 employees • Re-designed internal company newsletter resulting in improved employee readership • Assisted in promoting internal referral program responsible for over $10 million in additional company revenue • Wrote and distributed internal communications for the company political action committee campaign contributing to a 116 percent increase in business unit participation
